Hope Leeds is a local church and a member of Hope International Ministries (HIM). Our congregation is diverse, dynamic and dedicated to God and to one another.
We are committed to love and serve all people - all nationalities, all age groups and all walks of life. We believe that experiencing God's presence, power and love is a normal Christian life. Our vision is to fulfil the Great Commission by raising Christ-centred disciples to plan vibrant, biblical churches in our cities and countries all over the world..
The Hope of God Movement began in 1981 when a young Thai national returned to his homeland with a Ph.D. in Economics. With a heart burning with the vision from God, Dr. Joseph set out to plant churches and spread the good news of Jesus Christ in response to the Great Commission stated in the Bible. Together with his wife and two other relatives, they held the very first Sunday worship service in a lecture room at a Bangkok hospital. This marked the beginning of the Hope of God Movement. Today, we have churches in all over the world.
